Personal Report

I have been researching sanctuary cities and how they are portrayed by Bill O'reilly. I will be writing the script for that portion of the movie today and we will get together after class and add it all together.

2nd meeting

Yesterday in our class meeting we decided what material we would put in our multimedia project. To have the complete information i will look up more lies that Fox News portrays about the Arizona Immigration Law and sanctuary cities.

2nd Class Day Meeting

We had the class meeting yesterday the 28th in the library. All team members were present and contributed successfully. We now have a outline of the movie and on Thursday after class we will bring the scripts together and shoot the movie.

Brandon Report

Since our meeting this afternoon I have started to arrange some of the clips we have chosen to use for our movie. I will write out a description of the parody scenes we will create and have them ready for Thursday.

Ning's meeting report

We had our third group meeting in the library today. During our meeting, we decided our film's outline, which includes a group introduction, bassic facts, two specific examples about immigration, conclusion. In this Thusday, we are going to begin our film.

Checking In

We had another meeting today in the library and it went well. We decided the order we are going to show our movie, which includes our skits, clips, and the true facts. We are going to meet again Thursday to begin filming.

Individual Report Meeting 27 Sept

I have started writing the script for our movie in regard to the Arizona Immigration Law and will have it ready by Thursday when we plan on filming it. I am working in connection with Brandon on the spoofs surrounding this issue under our topic. See ya next time in class guys!

Ning's second meeting report

Based on our second meeting, I start to do some research about AZ Immigration Law, how immigrants affect jobs, and how the government effects immigration. I also found some materials towards why and how the huge difference between the R and D's points of view about "Alfredl Ramas" case.

Tuesday September 28 Meeting

We are having our second in class meeting tomorrow at 12 in the library, room 149. We will be making a outline of our information and prepare to shoot the movie.

2nd Team Meeting a success

The second team meeting that was held on Saturday 25th of September was a success. All team members were present and contributed. We have narrowed our research in further and have plans to begin to shoot the movie. On Tuesday during the manditory team meeting we will be outlining the plans for the movie and make final preperations to shoot it. Everyone has done their part on researching and we are working together great. We're excited to put everything in the movie.

Ning's first meeing report

Hey! sorry I just get done my school right now. Here is my meeting report. I have been assigned into facts group to research the real facts about immgiration debate, which focus on the economic, education, safty and healthcare levels. In this Saturday I will bring all the materials which I found to our meeting.

Brandon individual report.

I have been assigned to research the viewpoints of Fox News, Stephen Colbert, and Jon Stewart concerning immigration. I will do this and have material ready for our group meeting on Saturday. Last night I also looked into the possibilities we have using the imovie software. I should have my video camera this afternoon.

I have been assigned to research how Immigration is viewed from the viewpoint of Stephen Colbert and also Fox. I'll be researching throughtout the week and Saturday we will meet again to discuss.

First Team Meeting Individual Report

I have started doing what my part of the group was assigned and have begun research on the real facts behind illegal immigration and have found some articles/publications that are helping me gather the information we need in order to stay factual. Our next meeting on Saturday we plan to bring together all the research and information we've gathered and write an outline for our media project. This is my report.

Library Meeting

We met today in the library and I have to find how FOX news, the Colbert Report and the Daily Show all view the recent immigration debates.

First Meeting

The first meeting we split up duties and I will be looking up the facts or doing #2. I will be looking up facts on immigration that are non-bias.

September 21 Team Meeting Report

As scheduled the team meeting took place in room 149 of the USU library on September 21 at 12:00 P.M. All six of the members were present: Jaron Dunford, Tyler Anderson, Ning Lu, Brandon King, Wade Cook, and Tanner Lund. During the meeting we discussed the plans of the project. The general decision was that we will make a movie about immigration. To prepare ourselves for this we have split our selves into two different groups. The Fox news group consist of Jaron, Brandon, and Tanner; we will be studying how Fox presents the immigration. The Fact group consists of Tyler, Ning, and Wade; in which they will look into the facts of Immigration. Some topics we are researching are the effects of immigrants on education, health care, crime rates, and the economy. Each member will research there assigned topics and on Saturday, 25th of August we will have another team meeting to bring ideas together and create an outline for the movie. We have good ideas so far and are excited to put them together to make a great movie.

Our First Team Meeting

We are holding our first Team Meeting on Tuesday, September 21st at 12:00 p.m. (the normally scheduled time for class). We will be meeting in the lobby of the Library. Jaron, the team coordinator will be reserving a room for us to meet in...so please be there! We are talking about research and planning what we are doing for our presentation, which we had discussed making a movie or something. See y'all there!
